1.Bread Besan Toast

This toast is super easy to make, takes only 15 minutes, and is low on calories. This is a modified and yummier version of the good-old bread pakora and is tastier than that. So, to make this toast, you have to mix besan or gram flour with finely chopped onion, capsicum, green chilies, and garlic.

Add water to achieve a thin batter consistency. Keep the batter thin as you have to dip the bread slices in it. After adding water, add carom seeds in addition to the basic Indian spices such as salt, red pepper, coriander powder, and garam masala, etc. Now dip the slices in this batter and cook them on a non-stick pan. Use very little oil with a brush and cook on a medium flame.

2. Veggie and Cream Sandwich

Take finely chopped veggies like capsicum, tomato, and onion and mix them well with cream or Malai (cream from boiled milk). Add salt, red pepper, amchur (dry mango powder), and a little bit of Garam Masala. You can also add some boiled sweet corn to the mix as per your taste preferences and availability of the ingredients. Spread the mixture on the bread slice and cook it as a sandwich in your regular toaster.

3. Bread and Pasta Sandwich

This is a double dose of happiness and deliciousness. Make pasta the way you do and use it as a stuffing for your bread sandwich. Spread some cheese or use a cheese slice in the sandwich. You can also use grated mozzarella and processed cheese if you want. Make the sandwich in an electric toaster as it cooks on low heat, which makes the sandwich crispy and melts the cheese properly for a gooey texture.

If making pasta from scratch seems a bit time-consuming for you, you can also order the pasta online from any food ordering service such as Faasos, etc. You can also make use of goodies such as Faasos Discount Coupons to make your order more pocket-friendly.

4. Bread Poha

This is another delicious dish that you can make with bread. You can also use leftover bread to make this. You have to simply stir fry the diced tomatoes, potatoes, onions, capsicum and beans. Add all the spices as per your wishes. Now cut bread slices into small pieces with a knife, or you can break them into small pieces with your hands as well. Add these slices to the veggies once they are cooked. Mix them well and serve hot.

You can make it in different flavors as well, such as – Chinese bread poha (by adding soya sauce and vinegar in the veggies), Fusion Indian flavor (don’t add any veggies to onions except capsicum, add vinegar and soya sauce) and Simple Indian Tadka (the one we described above).
